Shoutbawx + rep button

I know this has already been discussed, but I seem to can't find that thread so I'm making a new one.
I remember that the only con arguments were "It's hard to code", but I don't think that's enough of an argument to stop this great idea from arriving to the forums.

i dont think giving chatbox rep for "heads" is a solution as then everyone who just does it gets endless rep and could fool around, but there should be a rep box indeed, maybe not for the "purpose you provided above" seeing then chatbox will be spammed with hed rep stuff..


but other things in chat box are worth repable, should be able to be given rep for!

Sry Kur, have mercy please. Maclone already saw the thread and left it open anyways for further discussion.

Edit: Most of the arguments are possibility of exploitation and how easy it is to do it through existing posts and threads, which I find ridiculous since it's already a possibility right now.

I do like your idea but then i think with the placing it would get messy, the arrow pointing down should much be deserved to have the +rep option because then it would give it a real use(no offense admins) and it would be less crowded and pretty sure that's a big thing mods want in the box. Hope this is looked into, i've thought of this in the past and it would save time of clicking on someones profile and finding something to +rep when they've helped you, because that is what rep is about, showing thanks. Thanks for bringing it to everyones attention Danza

Perhaps it could be considered to make it so you can give maybe 1 or 2 rep maximum in the bawx, not 7 or higher like some users can give on the forum. I get a lot of helåmfrom other users in the bawx and I would love to be able to +rep them directly from there.
