Change all MMOwned links to Ownedcore

Was looking at some older posts, and people link to threads sometimes. Old posts link to mmowned.com/whatever, and obviously those URLs are long since gone.

Can you run a DB query to fix all mmowned.com links to be ownedcore.com links? It appears most links work perfectly fine when you do that by hand.

The database is, imo, really huge, and a replace query would be reaaaally long :<

I dont see how that would be profitable or practical for the staff to do, but yes I have seen this happening and it is kinda irritating

Not really. The site is indexed with Sphinx, so they could pretty easily find all post IDs that contain "mmowned.com", and then replace them in batches of, say, 1000 at a time by post ID without disrupting the site.

I for one thought that it was a bad decision changing to ownedcore. mmowned was way better but that is my personal opinion.

I for one thought that it was a bad decision changing to ownedcore. mmowned was way better but that is my personal opinion.

I for one think that you havent read why we changed and all, and therefore you shouldnt say anything, since if we didnt do the namechange there wouldn't be a website anymore.
many always glorify what used to be.. but thats how the world is. The change was needed in order to keep the site alive.
