Donation status

The idea just popped into my head of adding something extra to the status donation. Add in a way to tell how many times a person has donated to the site (Like d2jsp has the star system). The rationale would be more of a status thing and hopefully commend some of the people who've donated quite a few times, it would be easy to distinguish between a person who wants to help the site and the person who donates just to get access to all the "elite secrets". I know it's easy to tell between the two regarding attitude and sense of entitlement. Maybe also have tiers like "Person A has donated 100 times, he has access to the Shoutbox even when his donation status is over".

With that said, I realize that the contributors might get mad or upset that they worked hard for their privileges, and I can understand in respect that, but it comes down to both parties are helping the site in 2 different ways.

Just an idea, if this has been suggested before, then I apologize, I did not see it when I did a search.

Actually it is something that is on the burner to start implementing. We had a cash market previously but it was lost in a site crash, but we are indeed working on this again. Stay tuned!
