A 'Like' System?

Was curious if we could get a system here on the forum kind of like at Honorbuddy and IPTorrents/Etc where you can "LIKE" what people post, and it has NOTHING to do with facebook. The facebook function is broken anyway, and seems to not be working. I think it'd be great, and you could tally up how many "likes" a person got for their thread/contributions. The tally could be placed right under the reputation, and it could say "Likes: 817" because people hardly seem to press the reputation button these days, because it seems people are quite hard to please, but I'm sure people would be more than willing to throw a "like" your way, and the thread could be well known for its likes. Maybe I'm going crazy, but I think this would be a great idea. It doesn't have to reward anything like rank, like rep does, but it just shows that you know, you've done some contributing and even though you haven't gotten anything reputable you've still put out a mutual effort.

Just my 2 cents, I hope it doesn't get shot down in like 1 second.

Edit: and what I mean by "what people post" I mean you can ONLY like the original post, the thread. Where at the bottom under their signature/etc it has all the likes, and the peoples names.
