Breaking News In Header [Or Below]

Fairly simple really.

Somewhere near the header (probably below the actual header, so ads still work) we add a giant red (or other bright color) banner with breaking news, if there is any.

Should be very useful to give a fast heads up to botters during a banwave, and model editors for when Blizz decides to start scanning other model files.

Would also allow us to have other sorts of news as well (eg; world news that is very important, such as the earthquake in Haiti, etc.).

It's not something we'd have up 100% of the time, or even 20% of the time. Only when 'required' to keep our users safe.

Would also allow us more traffic (especially for ban wave checking, since we do have some of the best guys in the business in our community).

I must agree, it sounds like an awsome idea. Make it VERY visible, as an notification for thoose under a rock. Thought, it may not be there for ceveral weeks, it'll just get annoying then and you will receive (eaven) more QQ.

Sounds great. Right now the only "breaking news"-similarity is the shoutbawx announcement.
