Smaller donation periods

I suggest having smaller donation periods, I have some money leftover on an old pre-paid credit card and want to donate VIA PayPal, but I don't have enough to purchase the minimum of 6 months, so maybe add 3 months or even 1 month? It would be great, thanks for reading and please do have a nice day!

This would actually be a good way to get more money donated imo $10 for 3 months and $15 for 6 months would make people want to donate for 6 months instead because they'll save money, thus giving MMOwned 5 more dollars and saving the buyer 5 dollars too

I think it's fine just the way it is. Lower amounts mean more people in other areas with lower topics just trolling and all that other bs that goes along with it.

If you have it too low, then the people who donate the 5$ or 10$ will be the leechers who will then tell all their friends it's either not worth it or something.

If you wanna donate do it for the amount specified, 15$ being the lowest, if you wanna be a man donate 200$.

Good points, with what you get if you donate $15 is awefully low come to think about it I kinda lol'd at the $200 for 10 years tbh because MMOwned has only been up for less then 3 years.

Well maybe not so low, but I think 3 months would be genuinely a good deal. I know that it's worth it, and its not much to many, but I do want to donate and it's just a pain getting the money online for me

Donating should not be your first concern as the only two post you have in a year is here.

Quality should mean more than money when it comes to such a community. Maybe the suggestion should be, after a set amount of time and reputation should you be allowed to donate.

I know post and quality is more important but I love the idea of allowing 3 months, it if that does happen then sure i'll donate the 10$.

Well I don't talk on forums much because I find that most of the time it's just going to be boycotted by young teenagers. I've been here on/off, just looking around, reading instead of posting. I've got nothing to share either since I don't really play games, however the place interests me nevertheless.

Also I would like to know why your opinion is that you should need to wait a certain amount of time and have a specific amount of reputation to donate? That doesn't seem like "donation" then, as it unspecifies the meaning of "donation".

That's a very good point and I retract my suggestion about wait time. However, there is not a single site that has so much up to date information than MMOwned.

By lowering the risk of childish behavior in certain spots on the forum just means improved function to the community and those who access it.

That is also a good point, I just think that 10$ for 3 months would also be a good idea, but thats just my opinion! =)

Eh, personally I think its a good idea, even if people decide not to donate after the 3 months, I think it is a good way for people to donate without donating alot, but still giving back to the site, so yah I would say its a good thing.

15$ is not too much money, and I'm sorry if it's but if you're able too play WoW every month it shouldn't be..

So I don't think MMOwned should change it just because you want too skim thru what there is and get it over with, also the BAWX is something that won't ever get old as long as you read the rules there, the bawx is what a lot of people actually donate for I think...
