Scammer Accusation

For anyone that might be wondering why we don't take any action against scammers who scam somebody that didn't make their trade in the Trade section, it's because the person who made the trade broke our rules by not having it in the section created for it. Trading isn't allowed in any other section.

If something like this happens, simply take the evidence that you have a PM it to an admin. That way there won't be flaming or anything of the like.

Just have them post thier AIM/msn in the thread before you talk, then take screen shots along the way.

Trading on MMowned equals you PM'ing an admin when you're scammed.

But the thing is, well in my case. The trade started in SB. And then there is no way for me to prove that it ever started here, because there is so much stuff that goes through SB. Yes, i know i should have posted something in the trade section. I have chat logs of this, and i already talked to Apoc, but he said that his hands are tied because i could not prove that it started on mmowned.

I dont mean like a section for people to accuse each other without proof. But a section where, say if u were scammed by a member of mmowned, but say the convo and everything started on Msn. But he has his msn listed on his profile. Since it didn't start on mmowned, well then your kind of screwed (well the way that i believe that the rules are currently).

1. DO NOT Trade/Sell in the Bawx (We are not a Markeedragon)!
2. DO Take your trading/selling to the trading forum/MSN/PMs
3. DO NOT beg for accounts/gamecards/gametime in the Bawx (no-one likes beggars)!
4. DO post a request on the forums instead.

Who gives a hell if you get scammed by another member. If you scam yourself, then you shouldn't expect to not get scammed.

Kurios, yes it was wrong to have the trade start in SB. It started by him asking if anyone would take a phone call for him. Yes i should have start something in the trade forum, but i didn't.

And no, i did not deserve it. There is a difference between scamming some kid that entered info into a phisher, and then someone scamming other people on mmowned.
Theres nothing that they can do about me scamming them, except get my WoW account banned or something. But on here, there is something that can be done.

i got scammed by a contributor and pmed a mod about it with my proof and the user was banned. if you dont have viable proof they wont really ban anyone.

and either way about it. if someone is scamming people within their own community they dont belong in the community. that's why you get banned from markee when you scam...
