No More "Packs" in the B&P Section

I'm sick of seeing these desperate attempts to gain rep through basically glorified reposting.

Examples:

My reasoning was summed up in the first thread (albeit directed quite forcefully at the OP), in the event (hope) that the thread gets deleted I shall repost it here.

For christs sake. Stop posting these pointless threads. We don't need 'repacks' or 'hackpacks' or any of that shit. There are two reasons:
1. Any WoW related hack posted in these shitty packs ALREADY HAVE THREADS IN THIS SECTION. So stop reposting the same crap.
2. All the other crap is totally unrelated to WoW and so DOES NOT BELONG HERE in the first place.

Stop trying to scab rep by reposting other people's hard work and trying to pass it off as if you actually contributed something.

In short, both this thread and YOU are a waste of space. GTFO.

Obviously that was directed at the thread's creator but it's easy to extract the reasoning from it.

Thoughts?

PS. There needs to be stricter rules overall imo. Nothing non-WoW related (keyloggers, 'cracking' software, etc). No repacks. Nothing overly simple (eg a 4 line batch script any retard could put together). etc.

It should be for the release of significant, unique, WoW related software ONLY.

Feel free to disagree, but that is my opinion.

i Agree 100% with you. even in the model editing section i hate seeing Threads with "All The latest Model Edits by MMOwned Members" , it is a desperate way people are trying to get rep by copy and Pasting a link to another thread.

i think the Mods of the B&P section need to be more strict and act on what you have said in your post Cypher.
