An official Mmowned server

I think an MMOwned private server is asking for trouble personally. Can't Blizzard still target private servers for "legal action"? Wouldn't want to jeopardize all of MMOwned for it. Course I have no idea of they still do that so...

We've had one of each, both a 'public' realm and a private server.

While i wasn't active on either of them, i'll assume the public server was more of just "Hey, make an alt on this realm" and all they do is chat, and for the private server, meh, i THINK a few people used it fully, but again, it was more of a "Make a character, talk to people on the forums, alright back to the one i was at before".

I have no idea, but i honestly can't see success in either.

People here will say "Oh that'd be neat, i'd totally join it!" but when it comes down to it, you're just going to join it, talk to people from the forums, get to level 7, then go back to what you were doing on your original realm.

Edit: I may have been mistaken for each, meh, maybe they were the 'unofficial' private servers. I still honestly don't think an 'official' one will be much differant than i discribed though, at the exception that you'll get more people, of course, it's advertised, but i don't believe the vast majority of the people that show up have the intent of leveling to the cap.

Yea I remember the live sever we used to have. We had a guild with like 20 people in it who had been inactive for weeks. But maybe with our insanely large pop now we could become active on it.
