Infraction for what?!?!

I recieved a infraction for a post in the WoW Bots section my post was with guidelines and ToS and im not sure how? I did post a outside link but there are plenty of other members in that same section posting links to there websites I would like to know what the issue is?

You posted an external link. Like you said, just because other ppl breaks rules does not mean that you can.

To post products in bots and programs we require you enter in an affiliate agreement.
We get 15% of every sale coming from oc and that user is forever saved to us. So we will get 15% of any further purchases or subscriptions. For as long as your product is active.

Project Sylvanus already has their own trade thread in the trade section. If you read the sticky in the bots and program section you will see that paid software requires an affiliate deal to be posted there, otherwise it belongs in the trade section. Lastly, posting referral links is against the site rules: https://www.ownedcore.com/forums/rules.php.

As far as I know you do not even represent project sylvanus and are just posting your personal referral link that gives you free time when someone signs up with it. If we allowed every user to do that in the bots and program section we would be overwhelmed with threads.

The poster of that thread has an affiliate deal to post his program in the bots section. Look at KuRIoS post in this thread explaining it; information about it can also be seen in the FAQ section on the navbar.

I understand it can seem pretty opaque for new users because of all the rules and that there is not really a clear badge or indicator for affiliates at the moment on the threads.

It may be something worth us looking into to make it easier for new users. Sorry if the staff replies seem short or rude, lately we've experienced massive AI spam attacks that has caused a large burden on the staff and that's led to a delay on general site improvements and let stuff slip through the cracks as far as regular posters breaking rules; which understandably can lead to more confusion about what's allowed.
