Favorite gaming memory were the Stormwind raids my PvP guild used to do back in Wrath of the Lich King. Was hella fun holding the trade district hostage with just a group of 20-25.

My best favorite gaming memory was back in 1991 when our parents brought for me and my brother our fist gaming console. A Sega Master System 2 .
The console itself had a game build in called Alex Kidd in Miracle World and we played it a lot and we enjoyed it so much !
After that we bough like 10-12 more games for the same console in the next two years but later on we exchanged it with a Super Nintendo + fewer games

Of course my fav game at this right moment is World Of Warcraft and i enjoy it so much with many friends i made in last 8 years and some are still in my Real ID list but i still can't put it above the first video game i ever played together with my brother and our parents gift it to us from their modest salaries with all their heart !

Talking about my brother , if i ever win will give his name and address in PM since he live in Italy now so he can bring it to me when he come in vacation to visit us (since Romania is not among the listed countries)

Veritable from Canada here, I know i'm late and can't win, I thought I would add to this thread.

    My favorite gaming moment.

I had been playing a lot of single player games on consoles like NES/Commadore 64/SNES and such, but when I got my computer I started to really get into the RPGs. I started playing the Ultima Series on SNES when my friend brought over the game, and so it was only natural that I wanted to try Ultima Online when I heard about it. The internet was starting to have some buzz around it as some mystical thing that I didn't know I could obtain access to, but when I did I got a hold of Ultima Online and logged in.

I was looking at all of the user interface options, where my name was, and thought that it was amazing. I had never seen anything like it before. I was standing in the center of a street, and there were buildings, and I thought oh cool lets go and see what's inside them. If you are unfamiliar with Ultima Online, there is a big overhanging bridge that divides the city of Britain in half horizontally. This bridge only reveals the ground beneath it in a 2nd layer, when your character goes underneath the 'top of the wall' and then it disappears revealing the bottom layer.

I did not know this at the time, so I thought it was just a wall I couldn't pass, bringing my thoughts to things like rocks in the Zelda franchise. So while walking around the wooden structures, I see another human being's avatar rollin through town. They say hello, and we strike up a conversation. They tell me to meet them by the bank. Here is how the conversation went.

    Me: Where is the bank?
Them: It's at the south end of the city.
Me: I have been to the south of the city and I didn't see a bank.
    Them: Follow me.

They proceed to go towards that wall, and I see them DISAPPEAR and I was like, great they left me. and I just kept walking thinking it'll port me somewhere. I got close to the wall, and then I saw him on the OTHER SIDE of the wall. I freaked out. And after we met at the bank, I started really wandering around, knowing now that this is how it worked.

Our discussion after a while, was that this is a cool game, and it's pretty big. When he mentioned that this was one City, and there are numerous ones, some bigger some smaller... It was at that point that the "Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game" hit home. I had no idea the scope of these games. Having a game on a console is one thing, but I was ONLINE playing this with a bunch of other people.

For years I had this in my mind, this feeling of wonder, though it dwindled every month that I played. Until World of Warcraft came along, and I remember getting that exact same feeling of awe and wonder when I walked up the hill to Ironforge and saw the massive Dwarf Statue, or when I saw the statues lining the bridge entrance to Stormwind for the first time. This is why I play these games. When something strikes me like that, it stays in my memory.
