I think the word you're looking for is remixed / parody?, I don't think attempting to belittle other peoples work is going to up your chances at winning a spectral tiger . by no means was I trying to fool anyone lol! Twas the Night Before 5.1

Twas the night before 5.1, and all through the game
Not a Rogue was online, for it was a shame;
The changes were made by the devs without care
In hopes that Rogues would reroll elsewhere.

The players were looking at their creation screens,
While remembering the days of old 4.3;
And Rank 1 players who had rerolled,
The Rogue community became angry and cold.

When on the PTR, there arose such a clatter,
We logged in to see what was the matter.
Away to my Rogue I flew like a flash,
No changes, no tweaks, will we still be trash?

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen Rogues,
Gave the lustre of Warriors to all other foes.
When we realized they had crunched the data,
It was obvious we were still paying for beta.

With a mean little crab, so naive and blind,
I knew it would be a while before he'd be kind;
More rapid than Charge, the blues came to his aide,
And he whistled and shouted, and never did cave.

"Now, DAXX! now, NETH! now, CRITHTO! and ZARHYM!
On, KAIVAX! on, BASHIOK!, on METZEN!, on CHILTON!
From the window! To the wall!
Make sure everywhere, Rogues fall!"

As dry leaves that before the wild nerfstorm fly,
When they meet with a Rogue, they'll make him die.
So up to the arena ladders and Rank 1's they flew,
With notes full of nothing, and the little crab, too.

And then, as if preparing, all the Rogues cowered,
Should Warriors, Hunters, and Mages stay in power.
As I drew in my hand, and was about to run,
I was met by a Warrior, and was killed in a stun.

In my spirit form, I was met by a ghost,
In this odd world, he was a most terrible host.
He was dressed in the skins of Rogues that had quit,
And it was obvious that he did not give a ____.

It became clear to me now that this was the crab;
Who had so rudely taken away all that we had.
In his spite and his malice he leaned over and whispered,
While I quivered and shook and let out a whimper:

"This was all a part of my master plan,
Go where you belong, into the trash can.
I know that our actions all seem a bit shady,
But I need to nerf you to the ground, baby."

And so it was the night before 5.1,
Where every Rogue had had their fun;
And received nothing they needed,
And the crab was paid for this most heinous deed.


Wrote this a bit ago. Let me know what you think. Maybe i will finally get a Spectral Tiger ;D
Also, wrote something a bit more serious and less "song like" If you can only choose one of them to be my submission choose the Night Before 5.1 please.


Creatures in the Night

The woods people call Duskwood.
Some say it is very close to hell,

A shadow under Azeroth where many men's remains rot in the ground.
A fiendish pit that small children brave. But alas; they are never found.

There Woeful streets fill with the devilish laughter,

A ghastly maze where many travelers wandered and fell.

Petrified guards watch the graves as twilight sleeps into the sky.

It's slowly shrouds the land.
Bringing back those are just too stubborn to die.

Citizens of Darkshire vainly attempt to hide.

Sadly it is impossible to elude the dreaded creatures lurking outside.

As the creatures of night wait for their restless master.

As he enters the town, more beasts arrive.

The Denizens of Darkshire. Now begging for a simple Reprieve.

Lord Ebonlocke watches the terrible scene unfold from his broken window.

Within moments it is over and the cool night wind begins to blow.

As usual, reinforcements arrive too late.

But, the Denizens of Duskwood begrudingly accepted their fate.

Some say that Duskwood is much like hell.

But we can only wait for time to tell...
