    750 Budget, Gaming Desktop

***This will be my first time building a desktop or doing any kind of computer work aside from upgrading ram, so any general tips would be appreciated**

I need a gaming desktop capable of handling large scale WvW gameplay in Guild Wars 2. I'd like 30+ FPS with the highest settings possible without lagging in large scale WvW. I like to have Skype calls sometimes with music playing via Youtube while I play, so a computer able to handle Skype and the game is needed.

I took out a CD/DVD player and burner out of an old 2005ish computer it's just the drives without the cords could I reuse those in my new desktop? If so does a mother board/processor come with the necessary cables to connect to them, and are the drives universal or do they only fit with certain brands. also is a anti-static wrist wrap necessary?

If anyone could list a part list or build I could buy that would be greatly appreciated.

Go down a bit. Those are some of the best parts available for your budget. I'm not the best at computers, but that guy puts out custom computer builds every month or two with updated parts etc.

Chauds builds make for a good starting point even if his knowledge past picking parts is akin to a seive.

Thank you very much. I'll look into both the build and the forum topic. Also am I missing something or is the Puppy, Dolphin, Narwhal, and Unicorn just the way he ranks the items?
