    RAID Help?

I'm gonna sound like such a computer n00b right now, anyways....

Basically i heard from a mate that if you connected your Hardrive to RAID, your PC will run games ALOT quicker, On my motherboard i have a section for RAID where there are multiple inputs. I only have one Hardrive , & it is SATA , would it be possible to increase the capability of running games by connecting this one HD to RAID (or would i need 2?) And how would i go about doing this?

RAID is generally 2 or more hdd's. This is for redundancy in data collection and to speed up write times. So yes games could be a bit smoother but is it worthwhile just for games? Not for the casual player.

RAID - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Best thing to do is, run:
    CCleaner (warez-bb.org :3).
    IObit smart defrag (warez-bb.org :3 )

and then if you are still having slow load times because of the HDD.. consider buying a new HDD- 7200 RPM or faster but no more than 10k RPM.
The absolute best for gaming is SSD (Solid State Drive). but they are very expensive per GB of storage.

Think before you post. You can only get smarter by playing a smarter opponent.
