PS3 = no games at all

Xbox 360 = good games yes hardware is malfunctioning but Microsoft keeps extending the warrenty.

I would say Xbox 360. When both consoles released I decided to purchase a Sony Playstation 3 because I wanted to stay loyal with Sony and play the awesome games. I had it for about a month and returned it back to the store. Why? because the Playstation 3 store is not that great. You can't lead successful clans because its hard to communicate with people. In order to view messages you need to back out of the entire game. The games get boring after a while and its boring to play alone.

i think of it this way-

360 for ANY online things, and also for FPS

PS3 - RPGs and the like

while yes, the 360 does have some hardware faults, it IS under warranty if it does get the R.o.D.

also, while live is kinda screwy lately, it always smooths out, ive been a member since the first couple months it was out.

I gotta say ps3. First person shooters on consoles feel really weird after playing on a pc. Also when they come out, ps3 will have the final fantasies (i think theres 3 different final fantasies). Also hopefully they'll make a Kingdom Hearts 3 for ps3.

ps3 > xbox 360... But I'm a bit of a playstation fan, because I never liked the xbox.

theres alot of good points to both systems.

If you like FPS, i would technically say go 360.
ALTHOUGH, my friend who works at game crazy, is really trying to convince me [he goes to alot of confrences for gaming] that xbox is coming out with a new system in a year and a half. A WHOLE NEW ONE. but ill wait and see if thats true.

but yea. its all depending on your gaming style what you would rather play =]
