World of Warcraft, League of Legends, & Crossfire ?! topping the $$ charts in 2015.
According to CNBC digital gaming sales hit a record of $61 billion in 2015.
The biggest increase in the 8% jump from 2014 was Xbox and Playstation's increase in digital downloads. Digital console game sales were up 34% last year earning around $4 billion. U.S brick-and-mortar stores slip 13%, down to $5.3 billion. On the not so surprising side mobile gaming surged 10% to $25 billion. As expected the big moneymaker was PC-based gaming pulling in $32 billion, over half of the total sales in 2015.

But frankly I am shocked to see Maplestory in that digital PC list. I played that game a few years ago and it was super fun, it just didn't seem like a game that would generate such a huge amount of money considering the game is completely free and the only way to spend money is on cosmetics through their in-game shop.
