Is Aion worth playing?

I have never played the game before but am looking for a F2P MMO worth playing that has at the very least average PvP. Is the game balanced? IS it P2W? Would you recommend someone who has never played it to try it out now? Any thoughts or opinions are welcome. Thank you in advance.

Personally i tried to play it awhile ago but it just felt wierd and horrible compared to new mmo's with newer Skill function like (Tera, Black Desert).
But if you like tab spamming you might like it.
