War Z (In alpha right now)

So theirs a new game in alpha right now that is a spin off of the very popular Day Z called War Z .... go figure haha. I payed the $30.00 to get into alpha and coming from someone who put in about 100-150 hours on Day Z im happy to say this game steam rolls it. Considering it is in alpha this game I think will be the successor to Day Z. From the way your guy walks compared to Arma 2, the way the game is setup, strongholds for items and many many tiny things just make this that much better. I could list probably 50 things but it would turn this into a short forum post into a TLDR real quick.

All I am saying is I suggest you guys to try it out. I think it is only 30$ still but theres a bunch of different ones you can buy depending if you want to wait for beta or if you want to rush into alpha along with packages that offer a private server for 6 months post release. This is going to be the League of legends to Dota, a good mod gone better by a small company. Well worth the $

I watched a guy play it and it looked ****ing awful. Game crashed every 5 minutes, animations sucked etc.

I got it 4 days ago and it only crashed once and it came back up within 5 minutes. It is alpha and honestly its hard to find whats worse in this than arma 2....

and yar the game crashed for me constantly on the first few dayz- it was corrected; mm the animations could use some tweaks for sure, as well as ... well something to do, oh look another empty building with nothing interesting :3 ... waiting for beta to pop out to playtest again.

and maisteri - if it was me you were watching i had to drop everything to low quality- medium and high were extremely buggy even without streaming and losing half my frames.

Yeah i want to get this- after playing dayz on the awful armor 2 engine (ruined the game). I heard that WarZ was in development before DayZ.

Well, I can tell you it doesn't crash any more. It used to crash for me every 30 minutes or so, which was a royal pain in the ass, but now it's fine. But they really need to put more stuff in, because we are getting really bored. But, it being alpha and all, I'm not disappointed
