Can my new PC run WoW?

I recently purchased a new PC, and I was wondering if it could run World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

    Specs:

    Core: i5-2500k
    Cores: Quad
    Processor Speed: 3.30GHz

    RAM: 8GB - DDR3

    HDD: Seagate 1TB

    GPU: Saphire Radeon 5770

    Screen: 23" Full HD Screen

Can this setup run WoW:Cataclysm with half-decent resolution?

    Thanks!

WoW doesn't take that much PC power at all. You could run like 50 WoWs with no lag lol

I'm not so sure if it can, my old one with 2.2ghz single core and 256mb video card could handle it but I don't think you will run it so smooth.

And I've been told that 23" screens isn't compatible with WoW.

It can, but only barely. You'll probably experience insane ammounts of lag.

    Don't mind the trolls (although I can't say I blame them ).

Your computer is fine and you can probably run WoW with the highest graphic settings and still not experience any lag.

It couldn't run more than 6 or 7 instances of WoW at once, so not something I would consider.

Though if you want to run one instance of WoW, you are way beyond minimum specification.

I am trying to conserve a bit of money, while running WoW on max graphics. The GPU is still undecided at this point, it may be a HD 6950; if things keep as they are going.
Thanks though, I just wanted to make sure that it could run smooth on max graphics. Much appreciated mate.

I have: I5 ~2.3Ghz, 4GB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650, and I can honestly say that this laptop can not play WoW on highest graphics. 1920x1080p maxed out graphics = 10fps. With a lot lowered, 30fps.

Your RAM won't make any difference but your CPU is a hell of a lot faster than mine, so I dunno.

rofl trolls. I'm nearly maxxed on settings with a 2.4ghz amd phenom 9750 x4, 8gb of ddr2 and a geforce gts 450. I get over usually low out at 40ish fps, highs peaks over 120s so you're perfectly fine. I used to run with the same specs but on a low pro radeon 4650..on hackintosh with hack job drivers and still ran at pretty high settings it was far from awful looking ingame. You're fine to run one copy of wow
