trying to playAion is frustrationg me

ok, so im trying to get aion running(Chinese version), and so far i have got it installed and patched, however when i try to launch it, it says that i have got a wrong dx9 version. well, i don't and i even disabled uac to see if that was the problem, but no luck.

so, a few questions.
1. it IS true that you get a 5hr trial in the china ver, right?
2. Is it worth it to try and do the china version
3. Will the america OB that you get from pre-order be only 1 weekend(this weekend) because i wont be able to play then.
4. a friend of mine told me if i preorder i get longer wings. is this true? i didn't see anything about it, but then again, i didn't see anything about the getting in OB with preorder until i went on a different aion site than the official one

1. All servers have 5h free time/sever per account. After 5h you won't gain XP or won't be able to pick anything up on the ground, you must add an adult-id to your account for continued play. Here's a guide Aion [Chinese Open Beta] - Spel - Playing

2. Yes of course it's worth it, personally I didn't like it but it's different for each person.

4. I don't know about any longer wings, but if you pre-order from steam you will get

• Acess to the closed beta all the way until the game's official launch on September 22nd, 2009.
• Attribute boosting hat
• Exclusive special effects ring (water)
• Experience boosting talisman

If you pre-order the collectors edition You will get :
- Special character title, "Pioneer of Aion", with stat boost
- Color dye to tint one in-game item
- Two character emotes - Disco Emote and Samba Emote- Black Cloud Wings which give 40 seconds of additional flight time
- Black Cloud Earring which gives an HP and an MP boost

ok, thanks. I was doing a few steps wrong. I guess i can give it a try again.

edit: YES i finialy got it running.... but you obviously have to buy the game to get the free trial..... i hate my lack of language reading skills.

Edit: got in, yay... but the game crashes every 5 mins tryed it on a different computer, and it did the same, so i am dling it from a different source.
