R4 is a flash cart for DS which you can buy and it allows you to play and save games from a micro SD. The R4 flash cart is the same size as a normal DS cart and it has a little slot for you to put in an SD card.

The R4 card costs slightly less than a normal DS game but it is a good investment because you can just download DS roms off of the internet and put them onto your SD card to play, even with the R4 card you can still use WiFi so it doesn't hamper your gameplay at all, just saves you money.

How to put DS Games onto your Micro SD:

1)Find a rom site and download one that you want

In the picture you see me downloading Mario Kart DS.

2) Extract it using WinRar, simply right click the file and click 'Extract Here....'

3) Connect your micro SD to the computer

4) In your extracted RAR file look for .nds file and copy and paste that into the micro sd folder.

I have one and they're awesome. I've only bought 3 games for my DS, I found out about R4 then never bought another game.
You can also keep games + save files on your computer if you run out of memory space so you won't loose your saves!
