SIngle Greatest 1Player New Age Game

what do you think is the single greatest single player, non shooter, non multiplayer, non online game?

you can't choose games like COD4 obviously, or Halo or games like that. You have to pick the game that is the most fun when playing 1player

oh and it should be relatively new age, not like old sega dreamcast or the 1st nintentdo. a game where the graphics are actually good.

However all your choices will be wrong of course, The 1st 2 God of War games (i count them both as 1 game) are the best games ever created by mankind.

Actually, dont make your argument for #1. All your choices are going to be in the running for #2 cuz god of war already has the #1 spot. soooo whats the number 2 greatest 1player of the new age

Not exactly new age.. but hell I'll throw it in. Doom, Doom 2 and Final Doom.

Okami is a Spectacular game.

Also the Entire Kingdom Hearts series

and Any FinalFantasy game (except 12, and the fail one with the girls that change clothes to get different spells.. X2 I think it was called) .. :P

Twilight Princess is pretty good for Wii.

Dance Dance Revolution.

Rockband/Guitar hero type games.

Oh .. and what about Any Resident Evil game .. they are always good.

hrmm .. Most Tony Hawk games are quite entertaining.

and Mario Party .. is Super ****ing fun as a drinking game :P ..

Max Payne and Hitman series surely should be mentioned. Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is my number one RPG, played through it 3-4 times and i usually get annoyed with games halfway through the first playthrough.

TES4: Oblivion. For single player. I've played through this game on both the 360 and PC and truly love it. With 140 hours play time on my 360, and 90 on my PC I think I can say it's always going to be one of my favorite. I just started playing through Fallout 3 and it's also pretty good, kind of different in a good way though. Also the Legend of Zelda: OoT is my favorite kid from when I was little.
