Depends who is behind the Lock or Pally, imo.

Yeah in general Warlocks > Pallies but a good pally can beat a lock in a duel anytime with bubbles.

Depends on what you want to do CC = Lock, Tank or Heal (Depending on Spec) = Paladin.

    Re: WHo's Better?

There is no class who's hands down better at any class in the game. I don't care what you say, don't care who you are.

A warrior can beat a mage, that mage could beat the warrior, who could loose to a hunter, but then beat the hunter, etc. etc.

There are many factors involved. The skill of the driver behind each wheel. The gear of each character, the build, cooldowns which may or may not be up, the list could go on and on.

Don't forget, pallies have cleanse (no cooldown, instant cast), which removes 1 poision, 1 disease, and 1 >magic< effect. Dots == magic effects, and it only costs 6% of base mana, which isn't that much at 70 really.

And with the way Blizzard broke fear, it really isn't too valuable anymore.

So, again, IMO it's all up to the player, gear and build. But that's just my .02cp worth, I could be wrong. =p

    Re: WHo's Better?

And what speed boost does the paladin have against that affliction warlock that just feels like running in circles as you cleanse them off and waste mana. Chances are you'll look at me casting the spell, and not at the fact i may be casting rank 1 or something.

Or actually, how about Unstable Affliction, just for fun. Didn't think of that spell?
Cleanse it off, have fun with your damage, because once you do cleanse it off i'll recast it

Waste your bubble to remove the dots, they'll reapplied.

    Re: WHo's Better?

Most of the locks out there aren't affliction, or are a hybrid mix and don't go for unstable affliction. Yes, that throws a serious curve ball, but it's not a win button. Warlocks lost their win button when fear was nerfed. Sure, they have the upper hand against most classes, but they're not godly, by any means.

My last post still stands. No one class is better than any other class. Each has it's own way to stomp on the other if played right. If both are experienced, and know their class, and how to pvp, then every encounter has the potential to be a great one.

    Re: WHo's Better?

nothing says love like a paint demonstration on fear

    Locks beat pallys
pallys are hybrid like shamans equlay good at dps and heal palys lean more to the healing side shamans beeing more offencive but there both good at dps and heal but not a master at ether
eg a pally no matter how well speced will not out dps a rouge or out heal a preist

pallys arnt the best of classes chose shammy over pally less time buffing more time setting new crit records http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...98928894696234
