[Help] Laptop's touchpad goes INSANE!

Hey hey, i've been having some problems with my laptops touchpad/mousepad lately.
When i first got the laptop sometimes the cursor would stop moving for up to ten seconds but eventually it would work again. Just recently, my cursor jumps around everywhere and it stops moving every few seconds. Sometimes the cursor moves up the screen by itself without me touching anything.
I thought i should post here because we have some super duper people that are real good with computers.

If anyone has any ideas, please post. Your help will be appreciated GREATLY

imo you spilled something in it or its not clean, so open up the laptop and clean it....or do what banskey said.

i don't have a hammer around . I'll just take it to my "I.T services" at my school... though they aren't very good, they just always reinstall windows >.<
