Computer problems

Hey there
Some time ago I got new computer with Vista Home Premium.
Well, two days ago I started having problems with shutdown. It just wont shut down >.<
I press the shutdown button, it shuts some programs (not all) but it just wont shut the damn computer, so I always have to boot it from the button (Power on button :P)
If anyone can help, please do.

Vista is too buggy for my taste.
Windows xp is the best.

I heard that this is one of the main bugs that Vista has...
