I'm not sure I can trust this. Having beta tested MSN 8/WLM 1, I can tell you you need to have your account on the beta tester list or you cannot log in to the client (one of my friends tried to log in whilst at my house and it gave an error message saying pretty much that). I recommend virus scan, people.

Oh, and with Messenger Plus Live, you can do all the things you've stated as the new features plus more.
