WooooooooooooT!!! Let a Female talk to her is the BEST anwer possible, i think... Let her talk to a doctor (male) would be the WORST possibility. I hope i never will forget this, could be needed some day. Give feedback on how it worked!

Personally, if you had no feminine person to get her to talk to, do something nice for her, like bake some cookies (I don't know >_> What do 11 year olds eat these days?) and give them to her to calm her down. Ask what happened and try to explain it the best as you can. Try to get to her that its normal and that you will find out more about it at school.
I do realize this is over but just offering my opinion.
just tell her to sit down, give her a drink and say to her, you've grown up into a young lady now, you will see and feel changes in yourself, emotions, the way you talk and do things will change, but the most of all you will have hairs grow in places, this is natural for a young women, so don't be scared about it or to talk to me about it ok sis, the blood comeing out of your "woope" is called a menstal cycle. its a special time of the month were your body, does this down there, it can hurt sometimes but its nothing bad so don't worry, we just have to get you "panty liners" (or whatever you could get for her considering her age) which will stop the blood comeing threw unto your underwear.
basicly just tell her not to worry, reasure her with a hug and tell her what is going on. dont use fancy ass words but dont use discriminating ones
Yep someone who knows about it more.Originally Posted by mchugh

If getting your GF to go didn't work, won't listen to her own dad and brother, and doctor too, then I suggest that you sit her down and make her listen. Or get one of her classmates who DID listen to their family talk to her![]()

just tell her that it's more than normal, and if she'll do as you say and stop crying and listen to you just give her a present that will please her =]
lucy?
i have problems at home too and i have only to say that you shouldnt keep it bottled up!
also try to call a kids family meeting with the youngest kids 1st then make your way up towards the rest of family but remember to keep it secret then tell your dad when you all think its time
