Paypal problems?

Is there anyway at all to get an American express gift card to work with PayPal at all? As of right now and most likely for a while I wont have access to a credit card which sucks on its own but I did come across a gift card and every time I try to use it at PayPal (which just about everyone uses to sell stuff) it fails.

You have to register it at the site on the back of it to get it to work online. It should let you verify your paypal after that.
