    Laptop Help!

Well, today I will be going to return my laptop and try to get a better one. I know that desktop computers are better for gaming but I would prefer a laptop. The current laptop I have right now is HP PAVILION DV9627 cl Notebook PC. I bought this from SAMS Club(Yes, I know! But this is the closest by my house). I want to get a better laptop that can handle gaming, such as Call of Duty 4, WoW, Counterstrike: Source and possibly some future games. I am willing to spend between $1,000-$1,500 no more. Here is a page of the laptops:
    Sam's Club - Notebooks

I was looking through there and found this:
    Sam's Club - Toshiba Satellite® 1.8GHz, 240GB HD, 17" LCD
Do you guys think this would be a good one for gaming?

Also, feel free to give me a link from Bestbuy, Circuit City, or even from a internet business. I will give you 1-2REP depending if you help me make a decision or give me some advice.

I'd recommend you to buy a Asus G1S
i got it about 2months ago, and i'm still stunned
i play on all highest details at 1440x900 and got in shatt about 80 fps
if you fraps on highest settings it while go down to about 50, but its still great
i payed 1400€ which is about $2100..so i guess its not exactly what you're looking for
but if you want a really high performance laptop go for this..i truely recommend it

heres a link, couldnt find a better one in english, as i'm from austria :x
