How to get past any online filter. (at school, the library, work, whatever)

1. go to the start menu and click run

2. type in cmd.exe

3. when the command prompt comes up type in ping.exe (whatever site you want to go on)
example: ping.exe myspace.com

4. after you hit enter this should pop up:
Pinging myspace.com [216.178.38.116] with 32 bytes of data
^^^^^^^^^^^
5. open internet explorer and enter the ping # into the url bar

so type 216.178.38.116 instead of myspace.com

then you can go on myspace at school.

you might want to log in as guest but i dont think the school can see you were on myspace anyway cause it'll say you're on the ping website not myspace.com

this should work. i've tried it for other sites but not myspace cause my filter at home doesnt block myspace.

i do not believe this works for porn site but i may be wrong.

then find the ping number while you're at home and write it down and enter it when u get to work/library/school. like this is the ping # for myspace: 216.178.38.116

K well its a good idea, and I'm not trying to flame or anything, but if you type in the IP address for say myspace then when you login then its going to redirect you to user.myspace.com which your school/work/library etcs filter will see and block the traffic from the site.

I just tried it with my router, blocked myspace.com, pinged myspace, typed the IP in and then logged in. As soon as I logged in it said this page has been blocked by your administrator.

Same with any site, you can access the page your going to get when you use the IP address to connect to the site, but as soon as you redirect to another part of the site the URL is going to change back to the WWW and the filter is going to block it if its one of the keywords blocked.

Great idea, just wont work (or at least it doesn't with my network and it didn't with my High school cause I had the same idea as you )

yea the blockers at my school block IP's also
