Now Change The Red To Whatever You Want to Name Your start Button.
Once you Change it Hit Compile Script!
Now Again Go to file This time Hit
"Save As"
And Then Click the Down Arrow Select C: drive
Then Windows And Save It There as
"Startbutton.exe"
Now from This Here is what we have done
Took the main source from "Explorer.exe" but changed the start button text
to somthing cooler then compiled it and saved it on our computer
Now we need to edit the Registry to use this File We Saved on our computer as
The not just start button file but entire explorer file because we completely recompiled Explorer With the start button in it.
So click your start button The click run type it "Regedit".
Now it the Registry follow this path to get to the place we need.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows NT\ CurrentVersion\winlogon
By clicking HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE The Software Then Microsoft Then Windows Nt Then Currect Verison Then by just clicking on Winlogon not its subentries
this Can take some time dont get mixed up there are lots of entries in here just find the ones i specifed in the order here.
On Here on the right you should see about 34 entries starting with
"(default)"
Ending with
"winstationsdisabled"
In all of these you want to find "Shell"
Double Click it and put it "Startbutton.exe"
for the value data then push ok
Then close your registry restart you computer and if all
worked out well your start button text should be changed!
