Greetings all.

I decided to wait until I was sure I intended to stick around before doing the whole intro thang... then found out my old friend HeRog is here and that answers that question :P

My usual hail is Salo....though I have several others. I was an old (old!) timer on UO Siege Perilous....tried a few of the newer brands over the years but none caught me with quite such a grip as uo. Played Anarchy from the last few days of open beta and the first few months of launch....played SWG for a little while. Lineage2 played for a little while....good fun. Made some very brief forays into Shadowbane very early on, but had run into technical problems at that time and had to fall off it. Hmm....what others? Asheron's Call 2, beautiful but kind of hollow. Irth......now Irth was interesting, but crippled by a couple of deep seated problems and a small playerbase.

I was never the greatest PvPer in UO but I held my own. I tend towards high dex, fencer type skill sets, with a sideline in mage:P

I always roleplay. By which I don't mean I never go out of char, but the basis of my play is always roleplay.


Now I am looking to return to gaming. In the last few years I have only played sporadically and without really connecting with any one game. I think it's high time I dusted off m'light blade and got back into the dust and clamour of battle.

Why that nick?: Vassago was the 9th demon prince of hell, and a human incarnate that sewn terror across the land, he was a dark god of death and all things brutal, i am by far not goth but i always thought the name had a nice ring to it and my main has held the name for a long long time.

Interests outside of MMOwned: I was a paratrooper with the 82nd airborne and enjoy anything outdoors, surfing skating, hunting and so on. im also a huge fan of all things digital art. I served 4 years with the U.S army and have had 2 combat deployments my first to sumara Iraq and 2nd to Barrehtkhowt Afghanistan, so fellow vets feel free to add me and we can tell war stories lol.

My strengths on MMOwned: I have attained the title of gladiator the last 2 seasons in a row legitamately and have a lot of knowlege to offer the PvP community, im also a veteran player of the game and have a vast knowledge of it in its entirety.

Anything else: Im new to mmowned and actualy found it by accident at work while trying to find anything related to wow that wasnt blocked by my companies firewall, now it gives me something to occupy my time all day, so basically im getting payed an insane amount of money to hang out on your site 9 hours a day...THANKS MMOWNED!!!
