So if i purchase the donor rank do i have to upload my ID afterwards?

no the ID verification is a totally separate thing

No but you have the option to do so to become an ID verified. Its a recent change, you get a link through PM if I remember correctly where you can upload your ID and it will be looked at by an admin, usually KuRIos.
