All these new shows are really starting to get on my nerves.
The announcers say "Tragically.. the wild alligator attacked the person swimming in the Florida swamps," and things like that..
That's not tragic.
Tragic is when a wheel falls off of an airplane and lays waste to a shopping center parking lot.
An animal, be it "tame" (no animals are tame, none of them, at all. No dog is tame, no cat is tame, no rat is tame. Give the correct circumstances, they will act like animals, they will attack, or they will defend) or otherwise, attacking a human, is NOT tragic. What happened to Steve Irwin, though unfortunate, was NOT tragic. What happened Sigfried and Roy in Vegas? Not tragic. Some random bear trainer, or elephant trainer gets mutilated at the circus, not at all, in any way tragic.
It's life. It's what happens. And I wish people would stop whining about it.
hmm.. yeah, /rant is over. I suppose.
