    Little Windows trick.

    Yeah so, I don't know if this is actually common knowldege (either it is and i'm really stupid, or it isn't )

    So, if you **** something op on your computer - for example, my internet mysteriously broke down, seeing no ways to repair it- you can just restore your computer to an earlier date, so the things that happend are "deleted"
    I did it, and got my internet back. To get to the "trick":

    Start -> All Programs -> Accessoires -> System Restore -> Restore my computer to an earlier time -> choose your date, and done.

    Note that all the programs you installed, etc. will be gone if you didn't have them installed on the date you restored to. It's basicly just a system restore, hehe.

    Re: Little Windows trick.

    Do it alot. It doesn't work 100% of the time though for what you were intending it to do.

    You can't just "OOPS! I deleted a program, system restore!" which kind of sucks.

    Although it is fairly obvious if you've explored what is in the default whatevers in the start menu for more than a few minutes >.<;

    Re: Little Windows trick.

    Wow, i thought everyone knew about system restore.

    Also, I've installed programs before that it didn't delete when i restored. It's kinda spot on as to what it does. But I've had it come thro in a pinch several times so it's worth a shot.

    Re: Little Windows trick.

    Heh I used to like System Restore, until a virus mysteriously copied itself over 3,000 times in my restore points. Ever since then I have kept my System Restore shut down.
