Fundraiser for kids in West Africa + A chance to win Razer Gear

Note to mods : I would love if you could maybe post this on the frontpage / have it on the shoutbox or make it more visible to the ownedcore members in any way

Hello fellow Ownedcore members! The last couple of months there have been a project to raise 1 million $ to kids in South Africa and it was VERY successfull!

You can watch more information about that project here - The 100-Day Journey Has Ended: ShareCraft 2012 - YouTube

So since this project was so successfull the same people have now started a new project, a smaller project but still a great project to help kids in West Africa.

    ShareCraft Gameathon 2012 Challenge

Save the Children is the leading independent organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in need in the United States and around the world. Recognized for our commitment to accountability, innovation and collaboration, our work takes us into the heart of communities, where we help children and families help themselves. We work with other organizations, governments, non-profits and a variety of local partners while maintaining our own independence without political agenda or religious orientation.

After raising more than one million dollars for the Horn of Africa together with DC Entertainment, Athene is teaming up with Save The Children again to prevent a hunger crisis from developing in West Africa. This time we're also working on organizing a livestream on-location as we plan our trip to West Africa so that we can provide more insight into the situation and into the aid we are providing with your donations.

FundRazr is the crowdfunding system anyone can use to raise money for their own project or cause. We've helped our customers all over the world raise millions of dollars by engaging their community on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and other social networks. No matter if you are an individual, a group, a non-profit or a political campaign, we can help.

Since I really enjoy these I decided to make a sub-fund raiser by Ownedcore.com.

How does this work? Basically all you have to do is to go to this link -
    https://fundrazr.com/challenges/campaigns/53XK6
    Opsharecraft.com <- Original
and make a donation. After you have made a donation, they will read up your donation on AtheneLIVE so that is a good chance to promote your YouTube channel or anything similar to that If you donate 10$ or more, you have a chance to win alot of Razer gear

"For the supporters who rank high on the leaderboards, we'll be constantly giving out gaming gear from Razer. Our prize pool starts at $2000 and we'll try to increase it as we get more exposure. The more you share and support the ShareCraft Gameathon 2012 Challenge, the more likely the chance that these prizes are yours. We are doing regular gear giveaways to donors, if the project takes off we may even give out Razer gear every single day to donors, just as we did with ShareCraft."

Disclaimer: I do NOT earn ANY money on this, ALL the money you donate will go to the sub-fund raiser in the name of Ownedcore.com, show the people out there that we care and we can top the leaderboards! The sub-fundraiser currently leading is on $372.01. Im almost 100% sure we can beat this and show everyone that we care and we can make a change! Ive allready donated over 200$ to the projects, and all the money I earn on my services online will be donated to our sub-fund raiser!

Total raised by the sub-fund raiser (updated almost instantly!)

    $33.17 raised

    Donators:

    Falkeid (33.17$ to sub-fund raiser - 231$ total)

(If you donate please post below and I will edit the post and put your profile link in it)

5500~ children die EVERY DAY in East, and West Africa, and then in America (and I mean no disrespect to anyone) we get our ovaries in a wad over 4 people dying in a freak car accident. Though I'm not endorsing death in America by any means.. we over dramatize the death of a frivolous amount of people.. of course it's sad and such, but think about the magnitude of the African AIDS pandemic. 5500 CHILDREN die daily, this doesn't count anyone over the age of 15. This is one of, if not the greatest thing a human being can do to support people in need. If I didn't already donate regularly to the save the children foundation, I would definitely consider sending in some money for this. Thank you for posting this, really. It's amazing there are still people like you, and I out there. Which gives me more hope in humanity.

Living in US, I'd like to see our homeless fed, our children housed and stabilized, and our nations problems solved. Not to be insensitive, because I am(on payday) donating to this, but this is how I feel about the world's problems.
