who the hell called me?

so about an hour ago, i got a prank call from some stupid person that i probably know... there's a good chance that they got my number off of facebook or something, but i dont really care. I'm just curious about the ways in which i can find out their phonenumber or even call them back. i've heard rumors that I could login to my AT&T acct online or something and look the number up there, but i locked myself out by typing the wrong password. it's my mom's account, so i tried guessing, lol. anyways i could always just ask her for the real password tomorrow, but are there any other known methods to track a private number?
