HELP! How do I get rid of Guest status

Hi, I have had this account for about 3 years now, and have been a long timer user here. I have also submitted my share of exploits in the past.
(But since it is a glitched account I did so with full knowledge that i could not properly receive rep.)


I have also brought this issue up in the past and have been told over and over to just register my account, or verify it.

I would love to do so, but there is NO OPTION to do this. I have looked high and low for the option, and for a while had given up.
So I figured that I may as well try again.

Does anyone know how I can properly verify or register this account?

Is there and admin that could send out the verification e-mail again?

I would like to thank everyone that could possibly help me with this issue.

Apparently everything suggested in the past didn't work if your account is still as it is...

I'll bug an Admin for you, as I don't think you can send PM's.

What confuses me is that in the "Who's Online" list, and even on your user profile (forum profile or from Mod CP) you're listed as an Active User, instead of the "Awaiting email confirmation" as is usual of Guest profiles...

Unfortunately there's not much I can do only being a Super Moderator, but I will continue to try and pester the Admins until this is either sorted, or I can tell you more.

Yeah I had a feeling. Last time I had the same thing happen.

I know something about forums, as I have helped run a few, and have had some experience with building websites. And I have a funny feeling that this had to do with the fact that I wasn't a registered user during the one of the first times the forums got updated. And during the transfer, I am guessing that my line in the database got somehow transferred as is, and I was permanently listed as a Guest. And then in another section of the database I got listed as registered. However since the two sections probably work independently and there is nothing that runs checks on users, the mistake was never corrected.

Then as the site was updated over and over again, it probably got even more muddled up.

I am not sure how this sites database looks like, or what type of forum you run (phpBB, etc.) but especially if the type of forum changed over time, this could prove to be a bit of a pain.

I know on some forums there is a way to "Force" a user to be a certain type, while erasing their past data, but I am not sure if this forum has those built in capabilities.
