business funding

Hey guys,

I just started up my own business but need to find some funding. I don't want to get a business loan from my bank. Im going to try to get a grant from my local government but otherwise something like a busines angel is good but I can't seem to find any help on that apart from US investors which isnt idea.

Any ideas?

What kind of business is that?
When I consider insane startup bubble in the Sillicon Valley, it should't be that hard to get some money if the idea behind the project is cool enough.

A computer sales and repair business, I have done all the market research and have premises in order etc

Well, you don't want to hear that but I guess that bussiness loan would be the easiest way to get money... AFAIK IT investors are interested only in new and cool ideas. If you are aiming for local customers, bank would probably be your best way to get money.

but if it fails, you can always go back to your karma+lottery tickets strategy

haha yeah but I dont wnt to say borrow £20k then not be able to afford to pay it back within like 5 years ha.

Well if you have a good enough business plan the bank is the best bet but if your not willing to do that then maybe look in the net for Investor's?
Only site i can think of from the top of my head is Do you want angel investors to call you? Meet angel capital investors, get investor leads & find accredited investor leads
You may be able to find somthing there in terms of investors
