Problems with Black Ops on PC.

So I'm having real problems with it. I more than meet the requirements for it.

Processor: Intel® Core™2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom™ X3 8750 or better
Memory: 2GB
Graphics: Shader 3.0 or better 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600GT / ATI Radeon® X1950Pro or better
DirectX®: DirectX® 9.0c
Hard Drive: 12GB*
Sound: DirectX® 9.0c-compatible

Mine

OS: Windows 7
Processor: Intel i5
Memory: 6gb
Graphics: ATI 5450 HD
DirectX®: DirectX11
Hard Drive: 1 TB

It keeps stalling in game for a few seconds, and then continuing like normal, I also get .4 or .5 sec of mouse lag which is stupid, I have a wired mx518.

I've recently installed new official graphics drivers due to a resolution problem that comes with the stock ones.

It's really annoying as I was able to play MW2 better on my old PC with 2gb's of ram and a nvidia 7900 GS

Protip: Play fps on console, and considering the amount of textures your gfx and ram aren't up to par unless on low-lowmed settings/and or ala your internet after all 600k+ people are trying to connect and regional connections may not be the best to other players/server. the environments are really heavy compared to mw2 =/

460, 6 gig ram... runs just fine at max along with my latency and my razor. as does my 360.

Thanks a lot both of you for responses, I would play games on console but I play other games too and I couldn't afford an xbox and an upgraded PC.

Aye, right click on steam launch options -freq 75 (should fix mouse issue) with MX518's it happens all the time, see if your GFX card is also forcing V-sync, if not then try the freq in launch options ( Right click -> Properties -> Launch Options -freq 75)

Zombie mod is screwed aswell, if I inv a friend to the lobby, he just gets connected to a random lobby.

I'll play SP till they fix it.
