    Sleep helping program? Monitor Tinting

There used to be a program that would tint your screen in a darker shade of pink / orange and make you, pretty much fall asleep at the computer. You could set it so it kicks in at a certain time and stops at a certain time.

I'd like to have that again. I just can't remember the name. Aloft or alox, oloft? It was something similar to that.

    Any help is much appreciated.

Edit: I'd just like to emphasize that I would kill for this program. It used to be free. ( If you think you found it, and it's not free, post anyway please.) Just something that only tinted and dimmed your computer a slight bit, you could control if it was too dark or too bright still.

Well, this probably ain't what you're looking for. But there's an audio program called Pzizz which should be pretty good at helping you getting a nap/sleep, even in front of your computer. Both works for computers and MP3/MP4's.

    purchase

Will keep an eye open for the program you're looking for tho.

Oh, I forgot to say, it's no a sound kind of software. Only the dimming and color tinting. It's not to help you sleep in front of the computer, but to reduce the effect that the bright lights have on your eyes before going to bed.

Aha, well - researched a little, and that stuff is damn hard to find. Well - will keep an eye out for it!

Well, after some more researching I came by two other programs that are extremely similar to your description:

    First one if called Compiz.

It's a program that can design your monitor and desktop in a extreme loads of ways. And also make the bright light reduced to spare your eyes.

And Xflux - An extremely effective program that lets you control the light on the monitor and desktop to also save your eyes.

Hopefully that's the ones, or similar to them :>
