    [Help]Starting on 3D stuff

    So I wanna get into stuff like 3dsmax and such.

    What of all the programs is the most beginner friendly and what external softwares might I need?

    Atm I'm doing this do fix some extracted models from a videogame and try import into wow.

    I only recently got into 3D software, and downloaded "Autodesk 3D Max 2011".

    Although there is a fairly steep learning, there are hundreds of tutorials out there. After a few the whole process becomes easier as you begin to pick up the commands and the tools etc.

    I'd suggest you download their trial, if not already done so, watch some videos and mess around.

    Sorry, but that's all I have to contribute as I've only really just started myself. Good luck!

    I'm downloading the trial atm, gonna try see if there's a keygen for it.

    What I plan to do is to extract models from games add bone structure+animations then implent into wow.

    3ds max 2010 on wbb;
    along with--
    Code:

    and yes for your situation, i doubt you are going to spend 6,000 usd + =/

    and it is not for the fickle, you will be spending weeks doing things over and over and it will get very tedious; try to do the tutorials correctly and not form bad habits.
