[Help] Vista Ultimate Errors

I currently have vista ultimate atm (i know sucks)
I also have a Dell Inspiron 530
Recently, I downloaded a video driver (NVIDIA)

NVIDIA DRIVERS 196.21 WHQL

And when it prompted me to restart, it started up.
During the start-up phase it would give me a message like:

Reading Disk Drive D:
Read
Reading Disk Drive C:
Read

Or something like that. Then it would freeze. I would have to restart and run it regularly.

I then had to run it on a mode where it last successfully started.

Then I uninstalled NVIDIA so I wouldn't encounter that error, and restarted my system.

During that restart, it did the same thing above but...

Reading Disk Drive D:
Missing...
Missing...
Reading Disk Drive C:
Missing...
Missing...
Read

Or something like that.

Then it would go to blue screen for like 3 seconds then restart so I cannot even see what it says.

I restarted it again, and then I tried to run on the modes where it last successfully started, same error.

Now, I even tried safe mode, it gave me the exact same error.
I am willing to do something to get this fixed as I can't even run my computer on safe mode.

Any advice helps on how to fix it or get passed it is nice.

No really, I've heard that one of the latest nvidia drivers cause problems (not sure if it's this one) but unfortunately I don't know how you could fix it other than reinstalling which I'm sure is the last option.

There was a thread someone on here warning people about the new update, i guess you didn't see it. If all things come to worse, get a Hard drive hub, connect it up, get all the stuff you need off it, wipe the hard drive and install Win 7... Thats if you have it somewhere :P
