-- FTW Tunneling Proxy -- How to Config to Mozilla Firefox

I got the idea from a couple of threads about getting on WoW at school. I played around with the program and my Mozilla config, and I got this to bypass the firewall at school.

You need to make an account on Your Freedom

    Your Freedom download

I have Windows, so I can't help any Mac, Linux, or any other OS users.

Click the "Download DE" to the right of "Window's Installer". Don't worry about "Windows full installer." That just'll take up more megs. I downloaded the setup to my USB. Start installing, and once again you can just save it down to your USB. When it's done installing, open the file named "Your Freedom" wherever you saved it. It will be named that unless you changed it on setup.

Open up the JAR file. As long as you have Java, this will be no problem.

If it's the first time you have opened it, it will open a Wizard. It's very self explanatory. Don't worry about the first proxy/port info. Just leave it blank, or clear it if your system already put something there.

Continue on: Don't worry about tweaks.

    Check everything except CGI relays.

Wait for it to search the servers available. Shouldn't take long at all.

When the list comes up, select one that is in your country, and find it with the highest Pref (as long as it still is in your country.) Click next.

Type the name/password you used to register at the very beginning. Click next.

    Click Save and Exit.

Open the main Your Freedom window. Go to the Applications tab, and check Mozilla Firefox. Click "Configure your applications to use YF", but make sure you are closed out of Firefox. Go back to the status tab.

Open another Firefox window, and go Tools >>> Options >>> Advanced >>> Settings >>> and fill in this information:

    Click: Manual proxy configuration
    HTTP Proxy: localhost Port: 8080
Do not click the "use this proxy server for all protocols box.
    SSL Proxy: localhost Port: 8080
    FTP Proxy: localhost Port: 8080
    Gopher Proxy: localhost Port: 8080
    SOCKS Host: localhost Port: 8080
    Check the SOCKS v5 radio.
    No proxy for: localhost, 127.0.0.1
    AND LEAVE EVERYTHING ELSE BLANK
    Click OK.

Next, go back to the Your Freedom window, and click "Start Connection"

Watch until everything goes up in number, then goes back down.
Once the Uplink/Downlink meters start moving, you know your good.

Open Mozilla, or try to go to a blocked website, i.e. YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

Are you on? I thought so

    There you go.

If you knew this, no need to flame, no need to get angry.
If you don't like the guide, no need to flame, no need to get angry.

Have fun. You use this at school, so what. You use this at work, be CAREFUL.

I am in no way responsible for any situations you may wager are my fault in a way, shape, or form. You are responsible for all of YOUR OWN actions.

    Not for WoW, bro...
Just a proxy, (that's why it says above "Useful Programs and Applications non WoW-related.")
