    Infected computer.

    Hello,

    Well I got a new Laptop for Christmas

    But someone must hate me as my anti-virus keeps poping up with this: (Masked my IP, as I dont want any more!)

    Now when I search something in google 90% of the time the links I press send me to a different website... TO use the right google links i am Right-Clicking and opening them in a new tab...

    I dont know if this helps but:
    Im on Vista SP1
    Google Chrome (also does it on IE)

    Please help... I really only want to reformat as a last resort as it takes forever to get all my software back on...

    Imo got this 2 hours ago.

    Look for something called "msa.exe" "b.exe" "c.exe" "lsass.exe"

    The last one is also a system file, but was duped for me and faked.

    End processes and delete.

    lsass.exe is part of Windows, msa.exe doesn't ring a bell and the others are probably unwanted.

    lsass.exe = lsass.exe - What is lsass.exe?

    I had two lsass.exe running, one was mirrored from the original, date created was the same as msa.exe.
