    paypal chargeback

How can I protect myself from it?(or at least avoid paying for it) I sold some quite stunning amount of wow gold to a guy for 90$. Later, while doing a background check, I found out that he has scammed quite a few people and is banned from few of the major account trading forums.(I know. I should have done this beforehand, but he paid me first and only after that I gave him his golds. Seemed legit at the time :/) And now I am little paranoid. I already drained my paypal account and removed my credit-card association with paypal(e.g. there is no credit card associated with my paypal account atm)
Can that little piece of something still chargeback the money?

Agreed, although many buyers may be resistant to using this approach.

I didn't quite get what you meant by term "gifting" in this scenario. I am just worried, cause I have read 101 stories about how easy it is to get your money back trough paypal. You just go claim a unauthorized payment and BAAAM! Well, paypal cannot really charge money from my credit card if it is not associated with the account can they? So, that being said, will they try to pursue the money some other way?(like contacting bank etc.) or I can just sit-back and relax?

Actually I think gifting you can still get charged back I think it happened to me one time but mabey, also did you already spend the money the best thing to do is if your doing something legitly and are afraid of getting scammed is to let the money sit there for a while to make sure there not going to do a charge back also keep all your emails and chat logs they will help in your case to pay pall somthing that is electronic thats the easiest thing to get your money back so be wary and only sell to peolpe that are trustworthy. Always do your research I learned that the hard way

If you accept PayPal, you always run the risk of a chargeback for unauthorized use. There is no way to avoid that unless you are willing to abandon that PayPal account.

However, sending a "gift" or "donation" are the least likely methods to result in chargebacks for other reasons (buyer's remorse, etc.).

Yeah paypal guys in coats will hunt you down and take the money from you. Not really but you'll probably get a letter in the mail and if you don't do anything... They... will... come... find.... you.
