12 month xbox live gold cards

A friend recently gave me a 12 month xbox live gold card. but it wasnt activated at the register....

if i goto gamestop and claim i bought it and its not working, do you think they will activate it for me. or maybe give me a new one or just kick me out.

its obv stolen. they are activated when scanned at checkout. i wouldnt suggest trying to activate it

Yeah, its stolen, and they are probably gonna think that YOU stole it, very suspicious, definitely will not work(otherwise you could walk in to the store -> grab card off wall -> have them activate card you just stole). Sorry, just be happy you didn't lose any money.

Tell them your grandma gave it to you and it's not working. No one will believe your grandma stole it. Throw in that she's paraplegic, too.
