Its sad, yes, but I've seen many emails sent to me by friends similar to this one. What they try and get you to do is forward it so they get a big list of emails to sell to people who will spam you. If you are going to pass it on, do so wisely. Although this story itself was probably made up, these kinds of things obviously do happen.

Got crap like this in my mailbox weekly when ppl were still quite new to MSN and such and all those chainletters were popular

Old story and nothing special imo

I believe this one is at least 10 years old by now

Happens, the real world is depressing. The best side of this story is that people are noticing and paying closer attention to these issues then they were 10 years ago.
