Help conection issues at class net

Heya!

All of us know that class re boring right?
well my mate and me thougth why we dont bring our computer and lets kill the boing? we did it and the surprise were that we found a filter at the net!!!!

its not a real filter, u can join everywhere but when u try connect just stay....... conecting.... conecting......
we have ready about proxys but dont know waht to do :S

any one knows how to jump that filter??? we dont want to buy an USB-Modem if we can jum the filter
