What do you think about the new expansion?

The expansion looks great, even though they're "streamlining" the stats. My only problem is that they could of chosen a better new race for the horde :P

Honestly, I am a Horde guy, but I have wanted to play Worgen since i started playing the game. True there will be alot of changes, but with all the new MMO's coming out Bliz pretty much had no choice but to make something serious.

Imo this will draw people back to questing and leveling there characters again. back to what you first loved about WoW.

First off I believe they are taking original hardcore WoW (remember 40 mans?) and making it WAY to easy to get more people to play such as the casual gamer as well as the younger gamer - people that believed that leveling was too hard. They're doing this in many ways, including stat condensation and breaking away from lore to make the game appeal to more people. There is absolutely NO need for human hunters in this game, so why make them?

I also believe that basically taking the zones and going from their original to "OMG LAVA1" is kind of lame. I know that some places are getting greener too, but honestly with a green desolace and a firey barrens not much will have changed.

Finally, old world exploration is GONE (pretty much). No going ontop of Ironforge or under Stormwind on rainy days.

Basically, new WoW is bad.

I cant wait to see how Azeroth will be changed. I am excited, one thing I'm not too happy about is that Horde is being ripped off big time by getting Goblins as a playable character. Seriously, who the hell wants to play as a goblin.

Hum... i wasn't around pre BC but,
i think the new Xpac looks cool for the most part (new race/class combos are not supported by lore but they could redo the lore and make it a completely different game)

in conclusion i think it could go ether way depending on how well they do

I think it looks great. I'm excited to see what new glitches and exploits u pros can pull outa the new expansion. although i dont like the idea of flying everywhere. if u do that then wat happened in outland will happen everywhere else. u can get everywhere so the exciting part of finding a way up a sheer cliff or wall walking for 50 yards will not exist anymore.

Honestly its too early to tell. Its nice that they're making some of the zones flying mount compatible though.

I think this is going to be pretty cool. I'm not looking for anything more than a "fun" factor in a game, and this expansion looks like it's really going to deliver. I believe this is going to be good for WoW, bringing in more players and renewing the interest of old veterans who were there before the first 20 patches. That's what it's doing for me, at least. But come on, they need to put the cap on lvling pretty soon. If they raise it to 100 it's going to get kind of ridiculous.
